IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME A YEAR OR TWO, WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOURSELF?

I needed to be proactive in submitting start-up proposals

WHAT PROBLEM DOES YOUR BUSINESS SOLVE?

Malawians are living in poverty with a lot of shortfalls needs ranging from Nutrition, Energy and settlements, coupled with recent Cyclone Disasters, more pronounced are Idai, Ana, Gombe and Freddy, leaving behind devastation of enormous magnitudes. In addition the trade gaps in the economy that imports are higher than exports

WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND YOUR BUSINESS?

Providing solutions to the less-privileged while sustaining the company.Malawi being one of the poorest and landlocked countries, with population expanding rapidly at 3 percent per year and the majority of livelihoods dependent on agriculture, the population is highly vulnerable to the effects of climate-related disasters. Poverty is experienced by most families, with those headed by women suffering the most. Malawi’s challenges are also compounded by high rates of HIV infection (at 9.6 percent), low primary school completion rate (at 51 percent) and chronic under-nutrition (at 37 percent) for children under 5. One way of uplifting lives of the underprivileged, is to embrace alternative sources of energy, which is affordable, accessible and environmentally friendly. This will ease pressure on the national grid and also serve consumers when needed, unlike current situation where applicants take so many years to be connected

WHAT IS YOUR MAGIC SAUCE?

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU’VE FACED SO FAR?

Start-up capital while the market is available and as well human resources
